Sacro Museum of Caracas

Under the Sacred Museum of Caracas, we find the cemetery. It dates back to the 17th century, a time when the members of the Caracas town council decided to build a Campo Santo annexed to the Caracas Cathedral. Towards the end of the 19th century, the cemetery was closed by orders of Guzmán Blanco, who decided to eliminate cemeteries located within the urban area, and instead ordered the construction of the General Cemetery of the South. 💡Curiosities:
