Bolivarian Museum

Museum dedicated to show pieces related to Simón Bolívar and the history of Venezuela. It is open to the public and admission is free. It is located in a typical colonial house with an internal patio. On its walls there are interesting infographics that give us information about the life of Simón Bolívar, as they show the last moments of the liberator's life, by the painter Antonio Herrera Toro and his burning chapel by Francisco Quijano. One of the most interesting rooms is the one that shows the different characters of the time. On the upper floors is also exhibited the chest in which the remains of Simón Bolívar were transferred from Santa Marta, where he died, to Caracas. 💡Curiosities: Special mention should be made of the room where the immense mural depicting the signing of the Declaration of Independence is displayed.
